本日が最終回となりました。

I post about colors every other Monday at KAPUWA STORE Instagram.

Today is the last time.

カプワと言えば、やはりブロックプリント。

Kapwa is known for block prints.

私が初めて出会ったのは2018年6月、コレド室町でのカラー診断イベントでした。

I first met Kapuwa at a color analysis event at Coredo Muromachi in June 2018.

カラーアナリストのメンバーの1人として伺うことになったのですが、カプワの色の世界に引き込まれたのを覚えています。

たかが色、そう思っている方もいらっしゃるかと思いますが、色は光、電磁波の一種です。

色を見る、色を身に付ける、普段何気なくしていることが色の影響を受けていることになるのです。

色も栄養素と同じ、バランス良くカラフルに。

As a member of the color analyst team, I went to the event, and I remember being attracted to the world of Kapwa’s color.

Some people may think that color is just a color, but color is a type of light, an electromagnetic wave.

Seeing color, wearing color,and other things that we do without thinking are influenced by color.

Color is like nutrients, they should be balanced and colorful.

理想はレインボーカラーです。

The ideal color is rainbow.

明るい色は気分も明るくなりますよ。

私が明るい色を身に付ける理由のひとつです。

とは言え、色ものはハードルが高い。

コーディネートがわからないから、いつもベーシックな色ばかり。

そんな方も多いのではないでしょうか。

カプワの柄のアイテムは着るだけで素敵な配色が完成します。

Bright color can brighten your mood.

This is one of the reasons why I wear bright color.

However, it’s hard to wear colored things.

You always wear basic colors because you don’t know how to coordinate them.

I’m sure there are many people like that.

Just by wearing Kapwa’s patterned items, you can complete a wonderful color scheme.

トップスやボトムスの場合は何を合わせて良いのか、わからない方もいらっしゃるかもしれませんね。

まず、柄の中で使われている色を使うと間違いありません。

もしくは、ベーシックカラー(白、黒、グレー、ネイビー、ベージュ、茶、カーキ)を合わせていただくと、まとまりやすくなりますよ。

参考になさって下さいね。

For tops and bottoms, some people may not know what to wear with them.

First, you can use the color used in the pattern.

Also you can use basic colors (white, black, gray, navy, beige, brown, and khaki) to match it more.

2018年のカラー診断イベントがきっかけで一気にファンとなり、アパレル業界、販売未経験の私でしたが、ご縁をいただきマロニエゲート銀座のポップアップショップからお手伝いをさせていただきました。

ご縁を繋いで下さったJCBA日本カラービューティライフ協会理事の啓子さん、未経験の私を温かく迎えて下さったデザイナーaikoさん、ご一緒させていただきましたスタッフの皆さま、そしてお客様、私に関わって下さった全ての皆さまに感謝いたします。

短い間でしたがお世話になりまして、ありがとうございました♡

Now, I’d like to say few word again at the end.

Although I had no experience in the apparel industry and sales, I was given a chance to help at the MARRONNIER GATE GINZA pop up store.

I’d like to thank Keiko, the director of the JCBA Japan Color Beauty Life Association, for connecting us, Kapuwa designer aiko for warmly welcoming me as a person with no experience, all the staff who worked with me, and all the customers and everyone who was involved with me.

店頭ではカラーアナリストとして似合う色をご提案させていただいておりましたが、最終的にはご本人が心ときめく色を大切にとお伝えしています。

お気に入りのファッションで過ごすと、それだけで小さな幸せを感じられ、ご機嫌でいられませんか？

In the store, as a color analyst, I suggest color that would look good on you, but in the end, I tell you to cherish the color that make you feel excited.

When you spend time in your favorite fashion, doesn’t it make you feel happy and in a good mood?

私は会社員時代、妥協で選んだファッションの日に限って、帰り道に誰かと会ってしまう。

急な飲み会に誘われる。

早く帰りたかったのに…

そんな経験がありました。

どうしてこのコーデにしてしまったんだろうと、小さな後悔。

When I was an office worker, I met someone on my way home only on days when I chose a compromise fashion.

I was invited to a sudden drinking out.

I wanted to go home early.

I’ve had such experiences.

I felt a small regret, wondering why I had chosen this outfit.

同じような経験をされた方、いらっしゃいませんか？笑

「これで良いや」の妥協ではなく「これが良い」と自分の望むものを選んで下さいね。

もちろんご自分の似合う色を知ることは大切です。

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Please choose what you want, not what you think is good enough.

Of course, it’s important to know what color suit you.

コンプレックスの塊だった私が自分に自信を持てるようになったのは、似合う色やファッションを知ったからです。

I used to have a lot of complexes, but I became confident in myself because I knew what color and fashions suited me.

似合うを知った上で、好きな色を自由に楽しむのが素敵な大人の女性だと思っています。

カプワの柄アイテムは、1シーズンだけではなくミックスされていることが多いので、逆にパーソナルカラーに縛られることなく楽しめるのではないでしょうか？

似合うトーンで合わせていただくと間違いないかと思います。

I think it’s a wonderful adult woman who knows what looks good on her, and then freely enjoys the colors she likes.

Kapwa’s patterned items are often mixed, not just for one season, so on the other hand, you can enjoy them without your personal color, don’t you think?

I think it’s best to match them with tones that suit you.
